Cradle Wall

More than 1,700 miracles happen every year at the QEII Hospital with each baby that is born. You can celebrate this joyous occasion in a very special way. Our Cradle Wall located on the main floor of the QEII Hospital is a commemoration of babies born at this hospital, in the previous Grande Prairie Hospital or Katherine Prittie Hospital. This colourful wall was designed and painted by local artist Tim Heimdal, and it features little pewter footprints that have been engraved with the name and birth date of a loved one. These Precious Footprints make a wonderful gift whether for a newborn today or for recognition of a birth from the past.

Your donation of $125 will not only purchase a Precious Footprint, but the money raised will also go toward much needed medical equipment that will help us to provide the best healthcare and services possible. This is a wonderful way for parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, or friends to acknowledge these special miracles.
